According to a University of Chicago study, keeping busy helps fight the blues. We are wired to be productive and active. The old term “busy work” might just be helping you fight depression. This got me thinking. We have a tendency to equate productivity with work. Productivity can look like anything. Even nonessential tasks make us productive at something. Moving around is much better than becoming content sitting on a couch. It’s time to get productive. Go get your dog, your kid or your friend and toss the ball around. Fight the blues by staying active and being productive.
