Don’t underestimate the powers of a Cozy Blanket. This boy has been in and out of the hospital since his birth over 10 years ago. When he’s admitted, he has long and painful transfusions.

About seven years ago, his Nanna asked me to make him a Cozy Blanket out of dinosaurs because we know blankets help soothe children during hospital stays. I told her I’d help HER make a blanket. Homemade blankets have love and prayers sewn into every stitch, and the love and prayers needed to come from her.
Seven years later, this blanket has traveled from Washington, to California, to Texas, back to Washington and returns to Texas tomorrow. The blanket travels by car, plane, and even through the United States Post Office. Why? Because the blanket goes where the kid goes.

At this very moment, the boy and his Cozy Blanket are visiting BOTH sets of grandparents in Washington state.
