About Progress Not Perfection

Stepping Out To Weightloss TV Shows.

5 Feb

I have a code of conduct rule in my life.  I can not sit and watch weightloss shows on the couch.  I love seeing people progress towards a healthier lifestyle and I love learning about diet and exercise.  My code of conduct rule when I watch these show are as follows:

  1. I must tape the show.
  2. I must march, pace, walk and dance through the show.
  3. I must keep moving through the commercials  no fast forwarding.
  4. Sometimes during the commercials I walk for a few minutes outside in my yard.

Last week, I had 92 steps when I began watching “My diet is better than your diet.”  At the conclusion of the show I had 12,596 steps.  I was still in my pajamas and hadn’t even started my day.  Not a bad way to get a few steps in.

The moral of this story is keep moving because all steps count towards better health.  It does not matter if you are running a marathon or stepping out to weightloss shows keep those legs and feet moving.
