Ingredients:
2 lbs beef chuck or 2 lbs stew meat, cut 1-inch cubes (It is perfectly ok to leave the meat out of this dish and use vegetables only).
- 1/2 cup flour (wheat flour works perfectly)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon paprika, and any other spices that sound good to you
- 4 carrots, thickly sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced (I like Yukon Gold)
- 2 onions, thickly chopped
- 1 stalk celery, thickly sliced
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms sliced
- 1 cup diced raw yam
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- large can crushed tomatoes
- small can diced tomatoes
- Add or subtract any vegetable you want
- Loaf of bread
Directions:

Place meat in Crock Pot.

Mix flour, salt and pepper and pour over meat; stir to coat with flour.

Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well.

Cover and cook on Low 10-12 hours or High 4-6 hours.

Stir stew thoroughly before serving…Eat with a slice of yummy bread.
